Most of your work comes through people who already know you: repeat customers, referrals, the engineers you've built for before. It's how good firms grow.
The trouble starts when a project slips or a big customer goes quiet. New names take months to win, and nobody in the business has time to go looking for them.
That's the part I take on.

Say you build automatic roll handling systems. Here's who I'd contact for you, and the kind of email I'd write in your name.
Four emails each, over a few weeks. Every one is checked against the company's own website first. If I can't say something true about a firm, I don't write to them.
